Nelson Line Metal TinVintage
Formed 1880 for the meat trade from Argentina to UK. Nelson line Commenced passenger service in 1910 between London and Buenos Aires. and in 1913 the company came under control of Royal Mail Steam Packet Co. but in 1932 Royal Mail Group collapsed, Royal Mail Lines Ltd founded and Nelson Line merged into the new company and disappeared as a separate company. Suggesting this box dates well back into the 1930's
With its original paine and signs of good usage, this metal box will be safe to use for many years to come, both sliding latched are still in tact and fully useable along with the handle.
