A real one of a kind, Very rare and like nothing we have seen before, this hat dating from the 5th International scout jamboree, held in the Netherlands in 1937. It would have belonged to a scout leader.
What makes this unique is its fantastic condition with thanks to its case, made from wood, with the original jamboree sticker on it, it makes the most fantastic wall hanging for any outdoor enthusiast or scout collector.
The hat itself has a the leather inner and outer ring which are both in great condition along with the red enamelled leaders wolf head badge with the words, 'do your best'
The 5th Jamboree, was the last at which Lord Baden Powell attended and gave his farewell speech, making this hat even more special.
43cm across 46cm tall
